Dos XX came to use to help them with a problem. The people of Austin are not purchasing Dos XX because there is so much competition when it comes to local beer brands. People prefer to purchase something local and friendly versus a product that seems like a big name brand an impersonal. As part of this project we created a key graphic, t-shirt design, and poster design for the event.
Concept A | Kick it with Dos XX
Texans love 2 things the most.
Boots and beer.
This is where kick it with Dos XX come in. This design relied heavily on the stitching style you find on boots all across Texas. The stitching on the boots references things that are unique to Austin such as: The State Capitol, bat watching, music, endless biking trails/bike friendly city, breakfast tacos, and more.
Concept B | Urban Fiesta
In this option we wanted pay homage to the huge community of creative people living in Austin. The logo was made of of different stencils which could be spay painted to create different pieces of art unique to each person.
